Germanton Art Gallery & Winery
 
The quaint town of Germanton, just north of Winston-Salem on US Highway 52, houses this vineyard and winery. A tasting room is located in their art gallery and frame shop. Germanton's wine labels often feature the work of select artists and benefit charities.

Sam McMillan Gallery
 
Sam McMillan says he'll paint anything. If you don’t believe him, visit his art gallery. Outside the store, you will see Sam's van, covered with his brightly colored paintings of animals. Inside you'll find everything from furniture to clothing to salt shakers. Sam was recently featured on a PBS show, "The Good Life," in a half-hour program telliing his story. You can find him at festivals and shows around the country.
