Stop by our Winston-Salem Visitor Center, 200 Brookstown Avenue, just south of downtown in the historic Brookstown Mill area, prior to you excursion in our community.


The Great Wagon Road to Wachovia - Stroll through 250 years of Winston-Salem's history. Find yourself in another time and place, explore the "strangest house in the world" and learn about the people - the Moravians, as well as the Körner and Reynolds families - that made this community what it is today.







Dare to Dream - Experience art as a unifying force in the community. While on this tour, visitors will view awe-inspiring murals, explore wonderful art galleries, experience Old Salem and discover the role African Americans had in shaping our community.







Fingerprint Friendly - This adventure takes visitors to family-friendly locations throughout the city including SciWorks, the Children's Museum of Winston-Salem, Historic Bethabara Park and Old Salem and its amazing new Toy Museum, plus nearby Horne Creek Living Historical Farm

The Wine Trails of the Yadkin Valley
- The 1.4 million acre Yadkin Valley, just west of Winston-Salem, is home to exquisite vineyards and wineries and was approved as North Carolina's first American Viticultural Area (AVA). The Yadkin Valley designation appears on bottles when wine is made from 85 percent grapes grown in this region. The majority of wineries offer tours and tastings.
