Scott Crotty, Director of Sales

Scott is the director of sales at Visit Winston-Salem and in addition to his 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he is a master of do-it-yourself home remodeling.  He is your "go to" guy for everything from conventions, meetings and sporting events here in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County, along with advice on the installation of tile or hardwood floors. 

Prior to joining Visit Winston-Salem he was senior sales manager with the Asheville Renaissance Hotel.  Scott’s experience in sales also includes time as sales manager with the Hawthorne Inn and the Adam’s Mark in Winston-Salem along with the Crowne Plaza in Memphis, TN. 

Although many folks know Scott in his current role as the president of Meeting Professionals International Carolinas Chapter, his wife’s insurance man knows him as the guy with the extra large life insurance policy.  Jodi, Scott’s wife, thought that would be a good thing to have, after she saw Scott take an unintended dive off a ladder while doing one of his home fix-it projects.
