Bookmarks Festival of Books and Authors - September 8-11, 2016
Bookmarks Festival of Books and Authors, the largest book and author festival in the Carolinas celebrates 12 years this year. Traditionally a three-day event, the 2016 festival has expanded to four days from Thursday, Sept. 8 through Sunday, Sept. 11. Celebrating 133 years, the Dixie Classic Fair is the second largest agricultural fair in North Carolina, averages 325,000 visitors each year.
