Family First: Build a Birdhouse Workshop
Reynolda House Museum of American Art | WINSTON-SALEM, NC

Diverging from our normal workshop structure, participants can either register to each make their own cedar birdhouses from kit materials, or work together like the men in Jacob Lawrence’s "Builders No. 2" to build one home for birds, then decorate the outside with paint. The cedar wood you’ll use to make a birdhouse once grew as a tree at Reynolda! Please note pricing is per birdhouse.

Family First is a series of two-hour workshops beginning at 2 p.m. the first Sunday of most months for children in grades 1 through 6 and a favorite adult. Workshops include time in the museum to explore a work of art or decorative art. View all upcoming family programs at reynolda.org/family-events.
