Located along the Reynolda Mile, the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA) is a 32-acre 1929 estate-turned-contemporary art museum. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor gatherings, with expansive grounds and a fully-equipped auditorium, SECCA can accommodate up to 300 people.

Welcome to the Carolina Heritage Vineyard and Winery. Located in the heart of the Yadkin Valley along the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, this fertile, sun-soaked landscape is the perfect place for our grapes to grow unadulterated. Organically raised and handpicked, we use the fruit from our 9 acres of hybrid and muscadine winegrapes and our 1.5 acres of blueberries to produce naturally delicious wines in our estate winery for your drinking pleasure. We use no animal by-products or grains in the production of our wines resulting in wines which are “vegan friendly” and gluten-free. Closed in January.

Our vineyard lies between a 1200 acre lake and 48 acres of beautiful rolling pastures. Our family has owned this farm for for over 70 years. Once a tobacco farm, this land now is used for the production of wine which is sure to please the palate of many people for many years to come.

Take a step back in time at the Shaffner Inn. This extravagant white and green Tudor Revival style residence was built in 1907, as a private residence for Henry Fries Shaffner, co-founder of Wachovia Loan and Trust. It boasts of elegance with its grand staircase, Tiger Oak hand-carved paneling, 9 original fireplaces, a wraparound enclosed porch, and dormer casements that emulate historic English lead-glass windows, all surrounded by handsome antiques. Have a glass of wine while gazing at the 240 gallon saltwater reef tank. Marvel at the museum quality model of Lord Nelson’s flagship HMS Agamemnon.
