Winston-Salem and the Winston-Salem Open (WSO) are a match made in heaven!

Don’t miss center court action as the Winston-Salem Open returns to the Wake Forest University Tennis Complex for its 10th anniversary Aug. 21-28, 2021.
This prestigious tennis tournament serves as the last ATP World Tour 250 event prior to the US Open.

“Our tournament this August promises to be a thrilling event for fans and will feature some of the best professional tennis players from around the world. The tournament will likely include a number of rising American players as well.”

– Jeff Ryan, Winston-Salem Open tournament director

Each year more than 40 of the world’s top 80 players compete for a chance to be named champion. Past athletes to play include Sam Querry, Daniil Medvedev, Steve Johnson, Hubert Hurkacz, Pablo Carreno Busta, Jurgen Melzer, Roberto Bautista Agut, and John Isner, a North Carolina native who has won the WSO twice.
