About
In the month-long class, 'A Photographic Journey of Winston-Salem as Told Through the Eyes of Her Elders,' older adults were empowered to document Winston-Salem using point-and-shoot cameras provided by Sawtooth School for Visual Art. Led by Director of Photography C. Stephen Hurst, and meeting weekly at Sawtooth’s studios at the new Intergenerational Center for Arts and Wellness, students shared poignant photos with touching and significant stories. Celebrate their contributions, unique viewpoints, and singular voices while seeing our city through their eyes.
The show will be on the walls outside the Gallery Theater at the Intergenerational Center for Arts and Wellness, behind Senior Services, and is available to see during regular business hours. We will have an opening reception on Wed., 2/21, from 1 - 2 pm.
