Carolina Ziplines Canopy Tour, located just 30 minutes north of downtown Winston-Salem, is a truly unique destination. Now 26 acres, it was the active farm and homestead of RJ Reynolds great-grandfather Joshua Cox (1731-1821. That’s right 90 years old). Joshua Cox was a trainer of the local Patriot Militia Men in the Revolutionary War and was instrumental in establishing freedom for North Carolina from the British. Carolina Ziplines Canopy Tour was opened in 2007 and was purchased by the new owners, Keith and Barbara Bollman in 2010. They re-designed the zipline in 2018 and today you can enjoy eleven different canopy ziplines. Carolina Ziplines Canopy Tour is Open Year Round, Tuesday through Sunday, Closed on Monday. Regular tour times are at 9am, 11am, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm and reservations are recommended. We add tour times when our regular tour times are at capacity. Walk-ins are welcome but not guaranteed a tour if we are full. Twilight tours are the 6pm tour in the Fall. We invite you to come and be apart the adventure. Visit the mountains.
