About
The Kernersville Museum, owned and operated by the Town of Kernersville, is located at the historic Morris House, built in 1925, which is located at 109 S. Cherry St. Started by the Kernersville Museum Foundation and later acquired by the Town of Kernersville, the Kernersville Museum celebrates our community by reviving local history and sharing the stories that connect us to our roots. We strive to create a space where neighbors can gather, learn, and reflect on the people and moments that define Kernersville. By honoring our shared heritage, our purpose is to keep Kernersville’s story alive for today and for generations to come.
In addition to the Kernersville Museum, the Town of Kernersville also maintains the historically preserved Kernersville Depot, the Bellamy House, and the Historic Village. The Historic village, located behind the museum, includes two tobacco barns and a weaning cabin.
The Kernersville Museum is fully ADA compliant and accessible.
