Young Cardinal Café 

As one of the most popular brunch restaurants in Winston-Salem and the best brunch in North Carolina according to Yelp, you’ll want to arrive early on the weekends to avoid a long wait. Luckily, brunch is served daily, so you can also stop by on calmer weekdays. Their house specialties include dishes like Huevos Rancheros, a breakfast burrito, and avocado toast of the day. You’ll also find classic favorites on the menu from omelets and benedicts to pancakes and waffles. They uplevel their mimosas by letting you choose from four different juices.

Mozelle’s Fresh Southern Bistro 

Head to Mozelle’s for a unique brunch menu with items like the green chili pork bowl and the “Go Back to Bed” sandwich. If the weather is nice, try to snag a spot at one of their outdoor tables. Afterward, take a stroll through the Arts District to admire public art installations and explore local galleries.

The Katharine Brasserie & Bar 

Serving Southern fare with a French twist, dining at The Katharine is always a treat. If you’re looking for a brunch spot in Winston-Salem, you can’t go wrong here. Start with glasses of mimosas, or you can get a pitcher for the table. Their house-baked croissants are another great item to get your morning started. Try the Oeuf Benedict—poached egg, country ham, hollandaise on an English muffin with petite arugula salad. You could also go with the Chef Inspiration Quiche, which is a seasonally inspired vegetarian quiche.

Miam Breakfast House in Winston-Salem is a brunch lover’s dream come true. The menu offers a wide range of choices, whether you’re craving something sweet like French toast or pancakes, or prefer savory options like breakfast skillets or eggs benedict. Can’t decide? Try one of their specialty breakfasts like the Deacon’s Choice or “3 Aces” and enjoy the best of both worlds.

River Birch Lodge 

Known as a local favorite for dinner, River Birch Lodge turns into one of Winston-Salem's top breakfast spots on the weekends. While they don’t offer bottomless mimosas, you can order Table Mimosas—perfect for serving 5–6 people. Their brunch menu also features a great selection of cocktails, alongside popular dishes like chicken and waffles and the California salmon cake benedict.

The Old Fourth Street Filling Station 

Brunch is served exclusively on Sundays here, so be sure to plan accordingly. Popular options include their signature Carolina shrimp & grits and the southwest breakfast bowl, plus they have a separate kid’s menu. An added bonus is their extensive wine list.

The Porch Kitchen & Cantina 

Want something a little unique for brunch? Head to The Porch on Sundays where brunch is served Tex-Mex style.
