You'll find 22 rooms spread across three floors and seven levels, creating a labyrinthine of interior spaces. You'll find iconic muscle cars from the States alongside timeless European classics and head-turning foreign models. Each car is meticulously restored and drivable, offering a glimpse into the engineering marvels of different eras. - GOOD TO KNOW: The museum is open three days a week: Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m., and Sunday, 2–5 p.m. There's no admission fee, though donations are appreciated.

WHERE TO SHOP: Downtown offers a treasure trove for unique retail finds. One must-visit spot is Eclection, a retail/coffee/wine shop combo. Here you can grab a cup of coffee, sip on local wine, and shop for home decor, handcrafted jewelry, and trendy apparel items. (The shop even offers crafting classes for all ages.) Just steps away is 119 on North boutique, a friendly shop offering a mix of women's and girl's apparel, home goods, baby clothes, and accessories. Treasure hunters won't want to miss Cooper's Vintage Village, a classic antique mall filled with vintage furniture, décor items, clothing, records, and more from yesteryear. And no trip to Kernersville is complete without a visit to Musten & Crutchfield, the town's oldest retail business (founded in 1938). These days the mom-and-pop food market sells handmade specialties like fresh meats, homemade fudge, and its famous pimento cheese while also showcasing a variety of NC-sourced food items.
WHERE TO EAT: When hunger strikes, downtown Kernersville offers a variety of culinary delights. For a quick lunch, check out Damn Yankees Deli, an authentic NY-style deli offering tasty subs, salads, and desserts. Another downtown favorite is Corks & Boards, a cozy wine bar stationed in one of Main Street's most historic homes that serves lunch and dinner (signature sandwiches, specialty pizzas, charcuterie, and more). For something more upscale-casual, head to The Prescott, a trendy eatery serving elevated Southern fare and fresh, seasonal ingredients. The Prescott is tucked inside a colorful alleyway of shops known as the Shoppes on Main (seen above). That's also where you'll find Patriot Pretzel Co., which offers a variety of fresh, hand-twisted pretzels prepared right before your eyes. For a sweet treat, head to Cake & All Things Yummy for delectable pastries, cakes, and desserts that will satisfy any craving.
WHERE TO RELAX: Looking for a caffeine fix or a cozy spot to refuel or relax? Local Roots Coffee offers a welcoming atmosphere with delicious coffee drinks and local goods. There's also Kyle's Coffee, a family-friendly coffee shop inside the aforementioned Shoppes on Main, with locally roasted java, expert baristas, and even a few toys for the kids (we love the train table). A newer spot, veteran-owned Savage Roasters, has quickly become a go-to because of its ethically sourced, small-batch, supremely delicious coffee. In the evening, unwind at Breathe Cocktail Lounge, where expertly crafted cocktails and a stylish ambiance set the scene for a relaxing night out. For casual vibes, Folly's offers a wide selection of beers, live music most weekends, and a huge patio space.
Enjoy the Great Outdoors
Discover a world of outdoor fun in Kernersville. Just a couple miles outside downtown sits Triad Park, a 426-acre recreation haven. You'll find a little bit of everything here: hiking trails, ample picnic spaces, a fishing pond, and multiple play areas for kids (including a unique rock-climbing playground.) The park is also home to the popular Patriot Disc Golf Course, where winding fairways and natural obstacles test your skills amidst scenic beauty. But the park's most biggest amenity (quite literally) is the Carolina Field of Honor, a poignant memorial featuring a 60-foot granite obelisk and display of flags honoring fallen veterans.
Of course, Triad Park isn't the only outdoor attraction in Kernersville. Take a leisurely stroll or picnic at Fourth of July Park, rent a boat or cast a line at Kernersville Lake Park, or take in the scenic trails at nearby Cascades Preserve. Kernersville is also home to the Ivey M. Redmond Sports Complex, one of the region's most popular sports attractions and perennial tournament favorite that's opening a first-rate rec center in early 2025.

This large brewery offers ample seating both indoors and outdoors, with frequent events like live music, pop-up workout classes, and food trucks to keep things lively. Finally, don't miss Little Brother Brewing, a cozy taproom featuring craft beer made with local ingredients. Located in the former site of Kernersville Brewing Co., Little Brother offers a prime location on downtown's Main Street. Visitors will find a community vibe, live music, trivia nights, and special events like yoga.

- Clark's Barbecue: Another go-to BBQ joints, Clark's is known for doing things the old-fashioned way, serving 100% pit-cooked pork, chicken, and ribs in a friendly, no-frills setting.
- Captain Tom's Seafood: Since 1972, this iconic spot has served hearty portions of the freshest seafood around. Aside from the popular fried seafood platters, you can enjoy fresh-shucked oysters, peel-and-eat shrimp, and a full-service bar.
- Smitty's Grille: This easygoing bar and grill is perfect for a casual meal. Choose from a menu featuring fried and broiled seafood, juicy burgers, and a variety of sandwiches.
