“Poems and Pictures” is an exhibit featuring photo poetic explorations by Winston Salem artist, Seth Moskowitz. Using a computer, Moskowitz combines and transform his photos into surprisingly interesting pieces of art but this is his first exhibit that combines verbal and visual representation along with some unaltered photographs.
“Bits & Pieces” is an exhibit of figurative collage by Winston Salem artist, Cheryl Powell. Powell’s inspiration comes from her photos, sketches and loose intuitive drawings of people in everyday situations. Materials used to complete the collages include acrylic paint, gel prints, painted translucent paper that she creates and found objects such as fabric and interesting paper.
