All of the Bailey Beats artists are based in North Carolina, but the duo behind Larry & Joe bring a unique cultural twist: Both performers have spent significant time in South America and the U.S. southeast and draw their musical inspiration from folk music of both cultures. Larry & Joe are on a noble mission to prove that music has no borders.

This August, get ready for a one-of-a-kind sound that fuses bluegrass and oldtime music with Venezuela’s llanera style, when these multi-instrumentalists and singer-songwriters hit the Bailey Park stage for the next Bailey Beats concert.

Because live music is better when you’re well fed, you’ll be able to purchase food from local vendors and restaurants and adult beverages from Incendiary Brewing Company.

Outside alcohol is prohibited, but you are welcome to bring outside food to enjoy at the event. Plan to bring your own seating—a blanket or low-backed chair so everyone can see well. If your music-loving dog comes along, please make sure they’re on a leash.
