Join Bookmarks for an evening of bingo, barbecue, and community as we kick off the Festival of Books and Authors season. Books, Barbecue & Bingo is now in its second year and has quickly become one of our most anticipated gatherings of the year.

The event raises funds to support author visits, hands-on literary programming, and the distribution of free books to K-12 students across Forsyth County. Your support helps keep the Festival free and open to all, bringing together authors from across the country for a weekend of storytelling, creativity, and community connection.

Throughout the evening, guests will be introduced to featured Festival authors and get an early look at the programs and experiences ahead. Bingo rounds are woven together with mission-centered moments that illustrate the impact of Bookmarks' work in building an inclusive, curious, and connected community through books.

All tickets include a barbecue dinner with vegetarian and vegan options provided by Honky Tonk Smokehouse, one complimentary drink ticket, and one bingo card pack per round. Non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary all evening. Additional drink tickets and bingo cards are available for purchase.
