Join the Winston-Salem POPS Chorus for their annual Christmas Show. From old seasonal favorites to new jazzy, swing song arrangements, you can count on fun, festive holiday entertainment for kids from one to ninety-two. So load up the little ones and the grands in your one-horse open sleigh (or your horseless carriage) to celebrate the season in song on Friday, December 12 at 7 PM at Marguerite’s Coffeehouse hosted by the UU Fellowship at 4055 Robinhood Road, The Coffeehouse requests a $5 donation at the door. The show will also be presented at Ardmore Baptist Church on December 18 at 6:30 PM. The 12/18 show is free to all while donations are accepted and greatly appreciated.
The POPS is a 32-voice community chorus of singers from Winston-Salem and the surrounding Triad area. In addition to the full chorus, the show will feature our “Lilting Ladies” chorus, the chorus of “Melodious Men” and the popOUTS, a small mixed ensemble. Kevin Mundy is the director of the chorus, and Robert Rocco with the UNCSA music department is the group’s accompanist and associate director
