About
Join us for the opening night of Making Space to Create, a special exhibition celebrating 80 years of Sawtooth School for Visual Art!
This free, public event brings together more than 130 artists whose work reflects the creativity, community, and spirit that have defined Sawtooth for eight decades. Come celebrate the people and the place that have made this school a cornerstone of the arts in Winston-Salem.
The exhibition runs April 16 through June 20 at the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts, 251 N. Spruce Street, Winston-Salem.
On opening night, you can expect:
- Light hors d'oeuvres
- Hands-on activities
- Storytelling with MUSE Winston-Salem, who will be on hand to record your favorite Sawtooth memories
- A look at the community mosaic among many other works of art
- So much more!
This is a night to reconnect, reflect, and celebrate 80 years of art made here, by this community, for this community. We hope to see you there.
Free and open to the public
