About
Moravian chamber music played an important role in shaping the early sound of American chamber music. Their music blends European Classical style with local needs and available instruments, representing some of the earliest chamber compositions created and performed in what would become the United States.
This concert brings that legacy to life with selections from the Moravian Music Foundation archives, celebrating the lasting impact of Moravian music on the American tradition. Join musicians Kinard Douthit and Jonathan Williams in celebrating the history of the American sound.
The Sounds of Salem concert series is INCLUDED with your standard daily admission ticket, or individual concert tickets may be purchased separately online or at the door.
