The Forsyth County Tourism Development Authority (TDA), dba Visit Winston-Salem, is the official destination marketing organization for Forsyth County, North Carolina.
The TDA was established by state legislation in 1983 to administer the proceeds of the occupancy tax to further the development of travel, tourism and conventions within Forsyth County. Keep reading to learn more about our mission, meeting schedule, and board members.
The mission of the Forsyth County Tourism Development Authority is to attract visitors to Greater Winston-Salem for the economic benefit of Forsyth County and its citizens.
The TDA is a public authority and welcomes members of the public to attend meetings. Regular meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. A list of locations for this calendar year may be found here.
