Welcome bibliophiles of all ages to Book Ferret - a new & used bookstore in Winston-Salem. If you love perusing books new & old, if you enjoy the company of bookish folk, you are welcome here. At Book Ferret we love reading books, adding to our TBR (to be read) pile, sharing book recommendations, and reading some more. Our mascot is Finneas the Ferret. Why a ferret? First, because ferrets are adorable mammals! Second, because long ago ferrets were used to hunt rabbits. They would sneak into a rabbit hole and “ferret out” the critters inside. Finneas the Ferret doesn’t hunt rabbits though. Finneas hunts books! His job is to find literary adventures for the readers who peruse our shelves. Our goal at Book Ferret is to provide a thoughtfully curated selection of new & used books for our neighbors in Winston-Salem. It is a place for book lovers to search, discover, read, & learn together.
