Both are avid readers and are passionate about promoting literacy and a love of reading. While The Bookhouse is first and foremost a bookstore, their goal was to also create an environment that would bring the community together by creating a space in which people can come and relax, enjoy a hot beverage/glass of wine/beer, and discuss their favorite reads.
