The Camel City Jazz Orchestra, Inc., is a nonprofit big band founded in January 2012 to fulfill the need for an organization devoted to the performance and cultivation of jazz music in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina and to satisfy the longstanding desire of the local jazz community to have a big band. Our organization is dedicated to developing and promoting a vibrant jazz culture in the Triad through performances and educational outreach programs.
