Village Point Greenway consists of nearly ¾-miles of paved paths around Village Point Lake and connects to sidewalks along Village Point Drive. Village Point Lake also boasts a fishing pier that allows urban community fishing opportunities for residents and visitors to fish a stocked lake throughout the year. Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Bream, Bluegill, Catfish, Crappie, Flathead Catfish, Redear Sunfish, Striped Bass, and Warmouth are some of the common species found in the Clemmons area.


New in 2026, the Village installed climate controlled public restrooms and a parking lot for users of the facility. Walkers, runners, cyclists, anglers, and families visiting the park will have access to comfortable restroom facilities and a safer, more convenient location to park while exploring the area. The greenway is also home to the new StoryWalk, an interactive outdoor literacy experience designed to encourage reading, physical activity, and family engagement. Installed along the Village Point Greenway, the StoryWalk features pages from a children's book displayed at intervals along the trail, allowing families to read a story together while enjoying a walk through the park. The StoryWalk will change stories and be part of local art campaigns.


There are picnic tables, benches, and a Little Free Library scattered throughout the space and we welcome all to come visit the Village Point Greenway & Fishing Pier.
