No bones about it — here are the best pet-friendly hotels and lodging options in Winston-Salem.

With a blend of pet-welcoming patios, scenic parks, and a wide range of lodging options, it’s an ideal getaway for pets and their people.

Below are some of the best places to stay in Winston-Salem with your dog or cat (or even bird). From boutique downtown inns to trusted national brands, each of these accommodations has earned a rating of 4 or higher (out of 5) on BringFido.com.

Downtown Options

Kimpton Cardinal Hotel rolls out the red carpet for pets — no fees, no size limits, and no limit on the number of pets. Perks include courtesy bags, pet beds, bowls, and treats, plus pet-friendly floors, a concierge, and Wag! Premium access. Bailey Park is less than a five-minute walk (two blocks) away, and the Coal Pit patio at Incendiary Brewing is another nearby favorite.

Hotel Indigo, located in the historic Pepper Building in the heart of downtown, offers a stylish, central retreat for you and your four-legged friend. The boutique hotel welcomes up to two pets (dogs or cats) of nearly any size for about $75 per stay, or book the $60 Pet Getaway Package for a toy and treats. Beside Merschel Plaza and connected to the Downtown Strollway, it’s perfect for scenic city walks.
