Summer may be the season, but it also means that it is time for something cold: THE BIG CHILL! 🍨

The Big Chill is the Shalom Project’s most beloved event of the year. Ice cream, food trucks, games, music, and fun make The Big Chill a fun day for all ages. If you have been before, you know how much fun it is. If this is the first time you’ve been, you are in for a treat.

Where? Bailey Park, Downtown Winston-Salem
What? A day full of family friendly fun, sweet cold treats, and fundraising! Community organizations will prepare gallons of homemade ice cream for event goers to enjoy, and at the end of the event, celebrity judges will determine which homemade ice cream is the winner. Event attendees can also vote for their favorite ice cream by donating at that group’s station or on their event fundraising page, selecting the “People’s Choice” Award.
Parking? Street parking is available across downtown Winston-Salem, but you can also use Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership's handy parking guide to find lot and deck parking near the event, located in Innovation Quarter's Bailey Park.
