The past and present collide as the School of Dance opens its performance season with a dynamic exploration of movement across generations. Contemporary dancers take center stage to perform works shaped by shared training, mentorship and creative exchange.
Alumni Kevin Tate (H.S. Dance ’96) and Ian Spencer Bell(opens in new tab) (H.S. Dance ’96) return to create new works alongside guest choreographer Neta Pulvermacher(opens in new tab) and faculty members Kate Jewett(opens in new tab) (B.F.A. Dance ’05) and Britt Juleen Gonzalez. Together, these artists create a layered program that ties intentional training to artistry and innovation.
Fall Dance reveals how young artists absorb, reshape and extend works created by those who came before them.
