A brilliant showcase of new contemporary works launches the School of Dance’s 2025-26 season. Gavin Stewart and Vanessa Owen of Asheville-based Stewart/Owen Dance return to UNCSA after successfully launching the S/OURCE winter dance intensive in January. Da’Von Doane also returns as a guest artist to premiere a new work, “Tabula Rasa” with music by Arvo Pärt.

New works by faculty member Fernando Carrillo and alumni Adrienne Westwood (B.F.A. ’03) and Kate Jewett (B.F.A. ’05) round out a dynamic program.

Fall Dance is presented with support from the Thomas S. Kenan Institute for the Arts’ Alumni in Residence (AIR) Project.
