Internationally bestselling author Jodi Picoult will be the Closing Keynote speaker for Bookmarks’ 21st Annual Festival of Books & Authors. The Closing Keynote will take place on Sunday, September 27, at 3 p.m. at Wait Chapel on the campus of Wake Forest University and will feature a conversation between Picoult and Winston-Salem’s Virginia Evans, the author of the bestselling novel “The Correspondent.”

Moving between past and present, Hollow Bones tells an epic story of the lies we tell ourselves as we write the narratives of our lives, the plans we design to protect ourselves at the worst moments, and the ties that bind mothers and daughters.

Tickets are $40 (plus taxes and fees) and include a signed copy of Picoult's highly anticipated new novel, “Hollow Bones,” as well as a professional photo with the author.
