North Carolina native David Tayloe presents a recital inspired by Thomas Hardy’s contemplative commentary on the passing of time. The program explores the journey of human existence, creating a trajectory through juxtaposed musical styles. The first half traces the progression from winter to spring, while the second half follows the hopeful brilliance of youth to the matured reflection of one’s time on earth.
