Wake Forest University’s Face to Face Speaker Forum brings world-class speakers to Winston-Salem on an annual basis. The events in each season cover a variety of topics, including political affairs, arts and culture, innovation and business, and social justice and global issues. On April 20 Face to Face will present Jack Nicklaus. Named one of the 10 greatest athletes of the 20th century by ESPN, he boasts 120 professional tournament victories, including a record 18 major-championship titles. In addition, he has designed close to 325 golf courses and is a tireless philanthropist, particularly in the area of children’s health.

Jim Nantz will serve as the moderator for Wake Forest University’s Face to Face Speaker Forum Keynote event with legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus on April 20, 2027. Nantz, a four-time Emmy Award winner and five-time National Sportscaster of the Year, joined the CBS Television Network in 1985. He serves as the lead announcer for “The NFL on CBS,” including the Super Bowl, and is the lead anchor of CBS’s golf coverage (PGA Tour, Masters and PGA Championship). Nantz was previously the voice of college basketball’s March Madness, calling every Final Four from 1991 until his final call in 2023.
