Golden Road Vineyards is a vineyard in the Yadkin Valley American Viticultural Area of North Carolina founded in 2010 by Bill and Sue Harmon. Located about 8 miles north of Elkin, North Carolina, the vineyard is located on Golden Road, just East of U.S. 21 and about 5 miles West of Interstate 77. Golden Road Vineyards acquired the 25 acre site March 17, 2010 and the vineyard yielded its first harvest in 2012. Grapes were sold to local wineries through 2017 when Chad and Crista Guebert purchased the vineyard. Starting with the 2018 red harvest and the full 2019 harvest, Golden Road Vineyards kept all grapes to make wine that will be sold in our Tasting Room.
