Island Cuisine is a family-owned Filipino restaurant serving the Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and High Point Triad area. Founded by chef and owner Marlon, the restaurant reflects a lifelong passion for cooking that began during his early career in London, where he worked in various hotels as a chef. In 2013, Marlon moved to the United States with his wife and children, carrying with him the dream of opening a Filipino restaurant and sharing his heritage through food.
The restaurant offers a menu of authentic Filipino dishes, including favorites such as crispy pata, lumpia, sisig, binagoongan, kare-kare, and bulalo. Guests can also enjoy traditional Filipino desserts like biko, sapin-sapin, and turon. Through its home-style cooking and dedication to authenticity, Island Cuisine provides a welcoming space for the community to experience the rich flavors of Filipino cuisine.
