Elkin Creek Vineyard is a charming, creekside winery known for its intimate atmosphere, handcrafted wines, and unique culinary experiences. Originally established in 2001 by Mark Greene and his wife, the vineyard was built as a labor of love around a historic, century-old mill.


Since 2011, the property has been owned and operated by Nick and Jennifer White and Louis and Carrie Jeroslow, who discovered the vineyard after the Whites were married there in 2008. Inspired by their shared vision—shaped during their time working with the Blue Man Group—the two families sought to create a destination where guests could celebrate life’s special moments or find peaceful retreat surrounded by natural beauty.


Wine & Tasting Experience

The tasting room, housed in a rustic brick building overlooking the historic mill and Big Elkin Creek, offers seated tastings led tableside, available indoors or on a small outdoor patio. Guests may also purchase wine by the glass or bottle and enjoy it along the creek, with space for relaxing by the water.


Culinary Offerings

Elkin Creek is especially known for its made-to-order, brick oven pizzas, offered on Sundays. Each pizza features hand-crafted dough made fresh weekly and is prepared individually to ensure quality. Reservations are required for pizza service, with a limited production of approximately 30 pizzas each Sunday. Guests are encouraged to submit their full order in advance.


In addition to weekly offerings, the vineyard hosts a monthly dinner pairing series and special annual events such as a Low Country Boil.


Accommodations

The property features four private, creekside cabins that provide a rustic yet modern getaway. Fully furnished and nestled in the woods, the cabins offer guests a tranquil retreat just steps from the vineyard, winery, waterfall, and historic mill.
