The Katharine Brasserie & Bar, a classic brasserie and vibrant bar with an abundance of Art Deco style, is located at the corner of Fourth and Main Streets in Winston-Salem, NC adjacent to The Kimpton Cardinal Hotel. The restaurant, located in the historic R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company building, channels the social spirit of Katharine Reynolds, philanthropist and wife of R.J. Reynolds, by creating a community gathering place through a multi-layered culinary program, warm service and interesting spaces. Chef Adam Barnett, a native of Columbus, Ohio, attended the New England Culinary Institute and started his culinary career working in traditional French bistro and brasserie kitchens.
