Mountain Valley Announces 2nd Annual

Oyster Roast & Low Country Boil Fundraiser

at Shelton Vineyards

An afternoon of exceptional food and philanthropy to support

compassionate hospice care in the community.

DOBSON, NC – MAY 11, 2026 – Mountain Valley, a local hospice and palliative care

organization, is excited to announce its 2nd Annual Oyster Roast & Low Country Boil,

scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Hosted at the

picturesque Farmhouse at Shelton Vineyards, this premier event brings together food

enthusiasts and community supporters for an unforgettable afternoon of fellowship and

philanthropy.

In partnership with Shelton Vineyards and Elevated Catering Company, the event

promises a high-end casual experience set against the scenic backdrop of the Yadkin

Valley. Guests will enjoy freshly shucked, locally sourced North Carolina oysters and a

traditional Low Country Boil, complemented by beer and wine service. Each ticket

includes two beverages for guests aged 21 and older.

Beyond the culinary offerings, the afternoon will feature live entertainment and a curated

silent auction. All proceeds from the auction and ticket sales will directly support

Mountain Valley’s mission, ensuring the continued delivery of compassionate

care and support services to patients and their families throughout the region.

“We are thrilled to return to Shelton Vineyards for our second annual fundraiser,” said

Kimberly Marzano. “This event is more than just a meal; it is a vital opportunity for our

community to gather in support of the families we serve, ensuring that no one has to

face the challenges of serious illness alone.”

Tickets for the event are $75 per person. Registration officially opens on July 13, 2026.

Due to the popularity of last year’s inaugural event, early registration is

encouraged. Registered guests will receive detailed parking and shuttle information

prior to the event date.
