Established in 2012, Camel City Goods Co. is an apparel brand inspired by a deep love for Winston-Salem and the state of North Carolina. As an extension of Airtype Studio, all Camel City Goods products are conceived and designed in-house. The brand is committed to sourcing sweatshop-free merchandise from trusted vendors, with the majority of products made locally or domestically.


In 2025, Camel City Goods entered a new chapter that felt both familiar and forward-looking. After closing its standalone retail shop, the community expressed how much they missed browsing the brand’s designs in person. At the same time, longtime collaborators and printing partners at Cotton Street Apparel offered an opportunity to join their showroom nearby. The partnership was a natural fit.


Camel City Goods reopened its physical presence within Cotton Street Apparel’s space at 446 Brookstown Avenue, returning to the same street that has long been central to its story. While the location is new, the mission remains unchanged: celebrating local craftsmanship, supporting local production, and providing a welcoming place for the Winston-Salem community to connect.
