A hub of activity for Wake Forest athletics and the campus community, Kentner Stadium primarily serves as the home of the three-time national champion Wake Forest field hockey team and the Demon Deacon men's and women's track and field teams. The stadium's track is also available for hosting outdoor track and field events. The facility seats nearly 4,000 spectators and includes amenities such as a pressbox, upper level viewing area, lights, a state-of-the art scoreboard and concessions. The field hockey pitch at Kentner Stadium is AstroTurf, which provides a fast and reliable playing surface. Kentner Stadium has hosted six ACC Field Hockey Tournaments (1992, 1993, 1999, 2004, 2010, 2016), two ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships (1995, 2006) and four NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championships (1995, 2004, 2006, 2009, 2019).
