Old Salem Museum & Gardens

Old Salem Museum & Gardens is a historic site telling the stories of people, including Moravian, Black, and Indigenous peoples, in the American South. Costumed interpreters dress in period-appropriate garments and tell the story of the original Moravian settlers of the area including their trades, traditions, art, and lifestyle.

Reynolda House

Completed in 1917, Reynolda House Museum of American Art was originally the home of Katharine Smith and R.J. Reynolds, founder of the R.J.R. Tobacco Company, and stands as one of the few well-preserved, surviving examples of the American Country House movement. Inside, you’ll find not only more than 6,000 historic objects, but also a collection of world-renowned American art on view in the historic house and special exhibitions.

Reynolda Gardens

More than a century old, Reynolda’s Gardens and grounds were part of the original 1917 footprint for the Reynolda estate. Although the landscape has changed over the years, many of its original structures and plans remain intact and now serves as a 134-acre outdoor horticultural oasis open to the public. Spend time exploring the newly restored Lord & Burnham Greenhouse, walking the formal gardens, or exploring the grounds and trail system.

Kaleideum

At five stories and nearly 70,000 square feet with an expansive rooftop playground, the reimagined Kaleideum Children's Museum blends together STEAM concepts to inspire education and play in learners of all ages.
