Join us at Athena Stationery for a hands-on Blooming Book workshop with local florist Bethany Ackiss of Forage Joy Florals! 

What is a Blooming Book? It's a vase inside of a book! Participants will learn how to craft a unique piece of art from a vintage book that is not only beautiful but functtional. The folded pages cleverly hide a water source to keep cut flowers vibrant and fresh. Also great for dried flower arrangements, plant propogation, pens, pencils, a paintbrush holder, and more. 

This fully guided workshop is perfect for all skill levels, from a complete beginner to an experienced crafter. Participants will learn floral design principles, basic care and handling tips and the unique mechanics that happen to be a book! Using a variety of local, seasonal blooms, each participant will create a custom floral arrangement to take home and display in their Blooming Book. All supplies, materials, and florals included in the ticket price ($65).
