About
Join Be Well Foundation for a free screening of High Risk: Black Mothers Protecting Themselves and Their Babies, a documentary exploring the Black maternal health crisis through the voices of mothers, midwives, doulas and healthcare experts. The film examines disparities in care, the lived experiences of Black mothers and the need for safer, more supportive maternal healthcare.
Following the screening, join a community conversation about storytelling, maternal health and how we can build stronger networks of care and connection for Black mothers and families.
Be Well Foundation founders Brianna Holland and Connie Perry will introduce the emerging Be Well Maternal Network, connecting mothers, practitioners and community resources across the Triad.
Free admission. RSVP required. Made possible in part by The Winston-Salem Foundation.
