The 12th annual OUT at the Movies film festival is held over four days, October 2 - Octrober 5. The festival screens an average of 40 LGBTQ+ narrative features, documentaries, and short films from around the world. We also host 8–10 educational talkbacks and maintain an accessible pricing structure to ensure broad community participation. The vast selection of films at the Festival aim to entertain, educate, connect, and empower our community. The films are engaging, challenging, informative, and deeply moving — sparking conversation, reflection, and a deeper understanding of the LGBTQ+ experience.
You can experience the Festival in several different ways.
Flex passes offer access to five screenings during the festival, transferable and useable by multiple people
All-access passes offer access for one person to all films and events

Founded in 2014, the OUT at the Movies International Film Festival is a nonprofit organization based in Winston-Salem, NC, dedicated to showcasing the finest LGBTQ+ cinema and fostering a stronger, more inclusive community through the power of film.
