This Valentine’s Day, ROAR is bringing the best of the North Carolina coast to downtown Winston-Salem.

On Saturday, February 14, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, ROAR will host the Valentine Oyster Festival and Roar & Pour Mimosa Festival, a celebration of premium local seafood, craft mimosas, and environmental stewardship.

ROAR is proud to partner with Mera Brothers Oysters (merabrothersoysters.com), a family-owned operation based in Davis, NC. Attendees will enjoy hand-harvested, sustainably raised oysters from four NC oyster farms.

“SHUCK FOR THE SHORELINE”

In collaboration with Native Shorelines & the NC Coastal Federation, ROAR is launching the “Shuck for the Shoreline” initiative.

Every oyster shell shucked at the festival will be collected and repurposed to build "Living Shorelines"—natural reefs that protect the NC coast from erosion and create vital marine habitats.
