The exquisitely renovated 19th-century Rogers House, now known as The Crest, offers versatile indoor and outdoor event spaces showcasing historic preservation and modern amenities. The Crest offers a charming outdoor setting for events, featuring lush gardens and a stately brick patio covered by twinkling lights, complemented by a selection of charming indoor gathering spaces. 

The main house offers 4,500 square feet for preparation space or hosting smaller and more intimate events, as well as a full bridal suite for weddings that encompasses the entire second floor of the beautifully restored historic home. The adjacent Carriage House offers an open 3,000 square feet of space to completely customize for your needs.

Key highlights for corporate events include its prime downtown location, private meeting rooms, and audiovisual services. The Crest also offers in-house catering through Mint & Magnolia and on-site parking for up to 70 cars.

Its high ceilings, exposed brick walls, and ornate fixtures create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Robert Hall features five boutique Airbnb rooms, "The Huntley House," for overnight guests and three distinct event spaces: 

  • A 2,500-square-foot space on the second floor, Capone’s Bar features natural lighting, a period-inspired tin ceiling, and an authentic 1920s mahogany bar said to be from one of Al Capone's hangouts. It’s perfect for 60 seated guests or 100 guests in a cocktail-style setting.
  • Encompassing a 2,500-square-foot first-floor space, The Vault highlights an original industrial aesthetic with gray block walls, brick columns, and an exposed sawmill plank wood truss ceiling. It connects to a 700-square-foot fully equipped commissary kitchen and can host up to 120 guests for seated events.
  • The Garden features a 2,100-square-foot outdoor patio with two outdoor fireplaces, lush landscaping, and entertainment areas. It can also accommodate up to 120 seated guests.

This former post office and federal building features captivating elements, including original mailboxes, a former federal courtroom, and even old jail cells. 

Currently undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation, this elegant three-story, 72,000-square-foot venue in the Downtown Arts District serves as a stunning backdrop for larger events, boasting ornate detailing and vast halls that can house up to 1,500 guests. 

The venue also offers event planning, on-site catering, extensive decor options, and audiovisual services. Its Grand Ballroom can host up to 350 seated guests and boasts 20 crystal chandeliers, maple hardwood floors, and original brick columns.

Featuring nearly 5,000 square feet of flexible space, The Loft evokes the sensation of being in the inverted hull of a great vessel with its soaring wooden beams that make a statement. 

Complementing its historic charm, the property also offers captivating outdoor spaces – the East and West Terraces – with seating for up to 300 guests.


 

Innovative Downtown Event Venues

Bailey Power Plant boasts several innovative meeting spaces inside a redeveloped landmark building. The Crane Room at Turbine Hall features a large, open area that accommodates up to 300 people, as well as four meeting rooms. This eye-catching venue also incorporates two shipping-container like-pods with flexible seating for up to 25 people. 

Bailey Park's 1.6 acres of dynamic urban green space are popular for outdoor events and team-building activities, featuring a natural amphitheater and a covered stage. Located just around the corner, Wake Forest Biotech Place offers a dedicated conference center featuring 15 rooms, including a 120-person auditorium, five meeting rooms, six boardrooms, and a four-story, 7,500-square-foot atrium with a 14-foot video screen. It is ideal for gatherings of up to 500 guests, but is even bigger and better when paired with nearby spaces. Together, Innovation Quarter and Bailey Park come together to co-host many medium and large citywide events like the annual Juneteenth Festival and Gears & Guitars Festival and Cycling Classic. Other smaller events in the park include summer movie screenings, Summerlark Music Festival, and the Sunset Salutations yoga series.

Party Decks, with skyline views, hold up to 75 guests. The concourse offers flexible capacity zones for up to 900 guests, featuring both uncovered and covered spaces, as well as concession stands. Professional catering, audiovisual services, special event lighting, and entertainment vendors are all available, along with complimentary parking for up to 480 guests (excluding non-gameday events). 

ROAR – a four-story, 42,000-square-foot dining, entertainment, and event space – embodies a sophisticated Roaring '20s vibe. Amenities include boutique duckpin bowling lanes, digitized mini golf (The Twisted Putter), golf simulators, an arcade, and a 90-tap, self-serve beer wall. Robert Hall is expanding its offerings with a multipurpose event space and museum, The Nash, scheduled to open in late Fall 2025. The Nash will breathe new life into the historic Win Cup Museum building. 

This new venue, inspired by the automotive history of the space (formerly a Nash Motors dealership), aims to fill a need for larger-capacity private event venues, comfortably seating 250-plus people. The Nash will seamlessly blend its rich automotive past with modern elegance, featuring unique cars from the Nash era within a museum-inspired atmosphere.
